Russian forces cross Oskil river to establish new offensive foothold in Kharkiv region

This was reported by the spokesperson of the operational-strategic troop grouping "Khortytsia," Viktor Trehubov, to Suspilne.  

He stated that the situation on the right bank of the Oskil River remains fluid.

"The Russians are trying to cross the river in small groups, accumulate these groups, merge them beyond the river, and only then carry out active assault operations toward various settlements. There are intense battles in the areas of Dvorichna, Zahryzove, Terny, and several other settlements near the river. This is because they need to establish a foothold to conduct further active offensive operations," Trehubov noted.
