The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this on March 11.

Russian attacks across Ukraine

During the day, Russia launched 6 missile strikes, 87 airstrikes, and 32 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems at the Ukrainian troops’ positions and populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks resulted in civilian casualties. Multi-storey and private houses, as well as other infrastructure facilities, were destroyed and damaged.

Frontline situation

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. Certain units of the Belarusian Armed Forces are performing tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.

At the same time, the Russian army continued shelling the entire borderline with mortars and artillery: over 30 settlements across the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions were attacked.

In the Kupyansk sector, Russia did not conduct any assault operations. More than 15 localities came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian troops repelled seven enemy attacks near Terny, Donetsk region, and Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, where the Russian army, supported by air, tried to break through the Ukrainian defense. Artillery and mortar shelling affected about 15 localities.

In the Bakhmut sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled five enemy attacks near Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Stupochky, and east of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region, where the Russian troops were trying to improve their tactical position. About 10 localities came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Avdiivka sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 enemy attacks in the areas of Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region. About 15 localities came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Novopavlivka sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the Russian troops in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, and Pobieda in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the Ukrainian defense 18 times. About 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russia attacked the Ukrainian positions 5 times in the areas of Robotyne, Staromaiorsk, and northwest of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region. About 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Kherson sector, Russia did not conduct any assault operations over the last day. More than 25 localities came under artillery and mortar fire.

Ukrainian strikes against Russian military positions

Over the day, Ukrainian aviation struck 8 Russian military positions and a command center.

The missile troops struck two manpower concentration areas, the Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system, and the 1L219 Zoo radar system.

  • On March 11, the commander of the Tavria operational and strategic grouping of troops, Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, told about important Russian targets that the Ukrainian forces had destroyed.
