“Russia concentrated its forces in the Avdiivka sector 5-6 months ago, when it set out to advance in this area. Today, this is the main direction of the Russian attack after the Avdiivka operation. What is happening is that a combat-ready enemy army, consisting of several divisions, is attacking the three brigades. Russia is trying to create a 1 to 10 advantage in forces and means. I cannot say that the situation is completely stabilized, but we have slowed down the pace of the invaders' advance, we are holding the lines, and the enemy is suffering very heavy losses here. However, I cannot call the situation stable today," the soldier said.
According to him, the Russian army is synchronizing its offensive capabilities along the entire combat line, and this applies not only to the Donetsk sector.
"However, it should be understood that despite the numerical superiority, the Russian army is unable to simultaneously attack along the entire contact line, so it concentrates most of its efforts on the Donetsk direction, specifically on the Avdiivka and Krasnohorivka directions. It is worth noting that Russia has started using Wagner tactics, but at the level of the Russian army, cannon fodder assaults are constantly replaced by armored assaults to create constant pressure. On the one hand, the enemy suffers enormous losses, and on the other hand, they have tactical operational success. The question is how long they will last and how resilient we will be. Our brigades are holding steady in this area," summarized Dmytro Kukharchuk.
