Russian army wants to approach Pokrovsk from flanks - Ukrainian military
Officer of the 59th Detached Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Yakiv Handziuk, Serhiy Tsehotskyi, noted that the enemy sent regular Russian airborne troops to the Pokrovsk direction

‘The situation in the Pokrovsk sector is extremely difficult. The enemy started the assaults at 6 am, using the latest heavy armored vehicles, including BMP-3, tanks and airborne combat vehicles. During the first assault, the enemy used 20 pieces of equipment, then 11. The fighting is currently ongoing,’ noted Tsehotskyi.
According to the officer of the 59th Detached Motorized Infantry Brigade, the enemy sent regular Russian airborne troops to the Pokrovsk direction.
‘The Russians want to approach Pokrovsk from the flanks, in particular, from Myrnohrad and Selidove. Since they failed to attack head-on, they got a hard kick in the teeth. I'm talking about the defense line of our brigade — these are the southern flanks, I won't name the settlements, but the situation is very difficult,’ said Tsehotskyi.
