Russia targets Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate in March 21 attack on Kyiv — media

Most of the cruise and ballistic missiles that Russia fired at Kyiv on the morning of March 21 were aimed at the facilities of the Main Intelligence Directorate 

Ukrainska Pravda reported the information, citing a source in the Main Intelligence Directorate.

"The vast majority of missiles that were flying over Kyiv on March 21 were aimed at the facilities of the Main Intelligence Directorate. All of them were shot down," the source said.

• Russia launched a massive air attack on Ukraine on the night of March 21. Most of the missiles were headed for Kyiv.
• The Air Force reported that Ukrainian air defense destroyed 29 cruise missiles and 2 ballistic missiles. The targets were launched from 11 Tu-95M strategic bombers from Volgodonsk and Engelsk.
• Ekonomichna Pravda estimates that Russia spent $390 million on the massive attack on March 21.
