Russia launches missile attack on Ukraine: Journalists calculate how much March 21st strike cost Russia
On the night of March 21, the Russian occupation army attempted to attack Ukraine using cruise and ballistic missiles, racking up a $390 million bill in the process

According to the Air Force, the Russian army employed two Iskander-M (KN-23)/Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missiles and 29 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles during the assault.
Journalists estimated that the total cost of the 29 launched missiles amounted to $377 million. They noted that the Kh-47 Kinzhal hypersonic missile may cost $10 million or more per unit, while the Iskander-M ballistic missile is priced at $3 million per unit.
"Therefore, the total cost of the attack on Kyiv on the night of March 21 may amount to at least $390 million," the report states.
- A massive air attack was launched on Ukraine. The missiles were aimed towards the western regions, with many being redirected towards Kyiv. Air defense forces were actively engaged in the capital and surrounding areas.
- Ukrainian air defense successfully intercepted and destroyed 31 targets, comprising 29 cruise missiles and 2 ballistic missiles.
