Russia storms Ukrainian positions in 11 directions, Ukraine's forces repel 41 attacks near Pokrovsk

This is stated in the Ukrainian General Staff's report as of 8:00 am. 

In the Kharkiv direction, the Russian troops continued assault operations. There were 13 combat clashes near Hlyboke, Tykhe and Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk direction, the number of combat clashes increased to nine over the day. The Ukrainian defense forces repelled assaults near six different settlements. The Russian army focused its efforts on Synkivka, where it carried out four attacks with the support of aviation.

In the Lyman direction, Ukraine's troops rebuffed 13 Russia's attacks near Makiivka, Terny and Nevske.

In the Siversk direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled nine attacks near Spirne, Verkhniokamianske, Pereizne and Vyimka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian soldiers stopped 14 attempts to break through Ukraine's defenses near 8 settlements.

Russia's troops launched 18 attacks in the Toretsk direction. They concentrated their efforts near the settlements of Pivnichne and Zalizne, conducting almost 80% of all combat clashes there. In addition, they attacked near New York and Toretsk. They actively bombed the city of Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repulsed 41 attacks near 7 settlements, where the invading Russian troops tried to force Ukrainian units out of their positions. 

In the Kurakhove direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces keep holding back the Russian army near Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka and Paraskoviivka, where Russia tried to break through Ukraine's defense 10 times. 

In the Vremivka direction, the occupying Russian forces made an unsuccessful assault on Ukrainian positions near Kostiantynivka. They fired uncontrolled aerial missiles at Vuhledar and near Urozhaine.

In the Orikhiv direction, two firefights took place near Mala Tokmachka.

In the Kherson direction, three Russian attacks on the left bank of the Dnipro River failed.

Near the border with Belarus, no signs of Russian offensive groups were detected. The operational situation has not changed significantly.

On the northeastern border with Russia and Belarus, Russia maintains a military presence, shelling the settlements from the Russian territory. 

Russian army launches 2 missile and 41 air strikes on Ukrainian territory

Over the past day, 152 combat clashes were recorded.

According to the updated information, yesterday Russia launched two missile strikes using two missiles at the positions of Ukrainian units and 4 settlements, 1 air strikes (involving 54 KABs), and fired 4,443 times, 120 of them using multiple launch rocket systems.

Russia carried out air strikes, in particular, targeting 7 settlements in the Kharkiv region; 5 in the Donetsk region and 1 in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Ukrainian defense forces destroy 4 Russian artillery systems and three depots

Over the past day, Ukraine's aviation, missile troops and artillery launched seven air strikes on Russian manpower concentrations, destroying four artillery systems, three warehouses, two air defense systems and two command posts.

• Over the past day, the Russian army lost at least 1,140 soldiers in the war in Ukraine. Ukrainian forces also eliminated a Russian aircraft.
