Russia shells Kharkiv region multiple times today, injuring three people
On Monday, September 16, around 10:30 a.m., Russian troops attacked the village of Petropavlivka in the Kupyansk district
The police of the Kharkiv region reported.
Initially, the police reported that a house had burned down as a result of the Russian attack. An 8-year-old boy and two women, aged 24 and 50, were injured by explosives.
Later, law enforcement officers clarified that a 77-year-old man and two other women, aged 76 and 50, sustained explosive wounds as a result of the shelling.
According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, Russia hit the city with a high-explosive aerial bomb (FAB).
According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, a woman was wounded in the shelling of Kupyansk, and a 74-year-old man was killed and two other people were wounded in the village of Petropavlivka.
Investigators have launched a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for violating the laws and customs of war.
- The Kharkiv Operational Group reported that Russian forces attacked their own units in the Kharkiv sector. Overall, the situation in this area of the frontline remains difficult.
