Russia producing 3,000 Shahed drones monthly — aviation expert
Russians are producing 3,000 Shaheds per month, maybe slightly more, give or take two to three hundred
Valerii Romanenko, aviation expert and leading researcher at the State Aviation Museum, spoke about this on Espreso TV.
"The Russians are producing 3,000 Shaheds, but per month. Maybe slightly more, give or take two to three hundred. You can see this if you look at the monthly statistics — the numbers don't exceed this. I don't think the Russians are stockpiling these Shaheds in warehouses. What does 3,000 Shaheds per month mean? It means 100 Shaheds per day. That's it, that's the limit. When the Russians launch 800 Shaheds, on all other days they launch 70-80 Shaheds. So this talk of 1,000 Shaheds is just another scare tactic. Yes, they could launch 1,000 Shaheds in one day over a three-day period in a month. And the point is, well, it's not a scare tactic in that sense, generally speaking, but 1,000 Shaheds doesn't mean 1,000 Shaheds every day," he said.
Valerii Romanenko noted that the maximum number of Shaheds the Russians launched during the mentioned attack was 800.
"You can see that massive raids occur five, maximum six times per month, but generally five times per month. And they still don't reach 1,000. The maximum number was just over 800 Shaheds, and that happened only once. Then the maximum number fluctuated between 300 and 600. So 1,000 Shaheds remains a Russian dream for now, and also in the minds of some of our people who don't really explain what they mean by this term '1,000 Shaheds,'" he noted.
