Russia plans to take 50,000 Ukrainian children from occupied Donetsk region
Russia is preparing for a new wave of forced deportation of Ukrainian children from temporarily occupied territories, disguising it as "recreation"
The Center for National Resistance of Ukraine reported the information.
According to the Donetsk region's gauleiter, Denis Pushilin, more than 50,000 children from the temporarily occupied territories will be taken to Russia this summer.
The Resistance notes that minors will be sent to camps and schools for assimilation and propaganda of the "Russian world." In particular, 13,000 children will be sent to various Russian regions, 2,500 to camps like Artek, and teenagers aged 14 and older are planned to be sent to study at Russian universities under the University Changes program.
The Center for National Resistance emphasizes that this is an illegal deportation, which violates international norms and constitutes a war crime.
"This is an attempt to steal Ukraine's future," the Center stressed.
