Russia moves surviving aircraft to Amur region after Ukraine's Spider Web operation
After the SBU’s Spider Web special operation, the Russians moved their aircraft to the easternmost point — the long-range aviation base Ukrainka in the Amur region

This was reported by Vasyl Maliuk, the head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) according to Ukrinform.
He noted that the Russian army is now using fewer aircraft for attacks, relying instead on Shahed drones and other unmanned systems.
“They were forced to relocate their long-range strategic aircraft to the easternmost airfield, Ukrainka. Now, to reach Ukrainian territory and launch sites, they must cover a much greater distance. This is inefficient and impractical for them, accelerates wear on aircraft components, and rapidly depletes engine life,” Maliuk explained.
- Ukraine's Spider's Web operation to destroy Russian aviation was likely aimed at being more extensive, with strikes on a larger number of Russian airbases.
