Over the past day, the Russian army lost 970 soldiers, along with dozens of units of military equipment on the front lines in Ukraine

Russia's total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to June 9, 2025, are approximately:

  • personnel – about 997,120 (+970),
  • tanks – 10,915 (+4),
  • armored fighting vehicles – 22,759 (+11),
  • artillery systems – 28,934 (+42),
  • MLRS – 1,411 (+1),
  • air defense systems – 1,183 (+0),
  • aircraft – 414 (+0),
  • helicopters – 337 (+0),
  • tactical-level UAVs – 39,818 (+167),
  • cruise missiles – 3,315 (+0),
  • ships/boats – 28 (+0),
  • submarines – 1 (+0),
  • vehicles and fuel tanks – 51,348 (+123),
  • special equipment – 3,911 (+0).

The data is being clarified.

  • During a Ukrainian strike on an Iskander missile system in the Bryansk region, 14 Russian soldiers were eliminated, including Lieutenant Colonel Oleg Podozyorov.
