Russia loses 1,220 soldiers, 18 armored vehicles and 22 UAVs in day of war in Ukraine

Russia's total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to December 9, 2024, are approximately:

• personnel - about 754,590 (+1,220),
• tanks - 9,519 (+0),
• armored fighting vehicles - 19,589 (+18), 
• artillery systems - 21,061 (+3),
• MLRS - 1,253 (+0),
• air defense systems - 1,023 (+0),
• aircraft - 369 (+0),
• helicopters - 329 (+0),
• UAVs of operational and tactical level - 20,093 (+22),
• cruise missiles - 2,859 (+2),
• ships/boats - 28 (+0),
• submarines - 1 (+0),
• vehicles and fuel tanks - 30,989 (+24),
• special equipment - 3,636 (+1).
