Russia loses 1,010 soldiers, 28 artillery systems in one day of war in Ukraine

Russia's total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to August 4, 2025, are approximately:

- MLRS – 1,452 (+1),
- air defense systems – 1,203 (+0),
- aircraft – 421 (+0),

- tactical-level UAVs – 49,451 (+77),
- cruise missiles – 3,553 (+1),
- ships/boats – 28 (+0),
- submarines – 1 (+0),
- vehicles and fuel tanks – 57,244 (+85),
- special equipment – 3,935 (+0).
The data is being clarified.
- On the evening of Sunday, August 3, the occupying Russian army launched attack drones at Ukrainian territory. Explosions were reported in Odesa, air defense was active in the Kyiv region. The attack injured civilians in Kherson and the Dnipropetrovsk region.
