"Today, on April 11, after 4 p.m., the enemy launched an air strike with guided missiles on the critical infrastructure of Sumy - the thermal power plant. All necessary services are working at the scene," the statement said.
Preliminary, no one was injured. The consequences of the strike are being clarified.
Russian forces also fired, likely using cannon artillery, at the Esman community in the Shostka district, resulting in two individuals sustaining injuries of differing severity. The victims were subsequently hospitalized at Hlukhiv Hospital.
