Russia keeps trying to advance near Robotyne - ISW
Russian forces continue their attempts to occupy the settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Over the past day, they advanced near Robotyne
The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reports this.
Geolocation footage released on February 21 shows that Russian troops have advanced near Robotyne. At the same time, the Russian army advanced west of Verbove to the east of Robotyne. Over the past day, positional fighting continued near Verbove, Robotyne and Mala Tokmachka - northeast of Robotyne and southeast of Orikhiv.
The Russian propagandist, citing unidentified Ukrainian analysts, claimed that the invading Russian forces had advanced to 2.02 kilometers in width and 650 meters in depth near Novoprokopivka, south of Robotyne, but ISW found no visual evidence to support this claim.
Units of the Russian 70th Motorized Rifle Regiment (42nd Motorized Rifle Division of the 58th Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District) are operating near Robotyne.
- Over the past day, Ukrainian troops repelled Russian attacks in 8 sectors, most of them in the Avdiivka area. There were 64 combat engagements at the front.
