Russia is pulling more nations into abyss of war – military expert Seleznyov
Ukrainian military expert, Colonel Vladyslav Seleznyov, stressed the importance of exposing the actions of the aggressor state across international platforms
Seleznyov shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"It's clear that more countries are getting dragged deeper into this war. The Belarusian government is essentially fighting alongside Russia by supplying weapons and military equipment, while also offering its territory — both airspace and land — for Russian military operations," Seleznyov pointed out.
He added that Iran is also involved in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
"We’re seeing Shahed drones and artillery ammunition from Iran being actively used by Russian forces. And now, North Korea is in the mix, providing missiles, artillery shells, and systems. This presents a significant challenge. What’s next? A lot depends on the proactive stance of our diplomats. It’s crucial to highlight these actions on international platforms and to secure support and compromise with our Western allies," Seleznyov stressed.
On October 7, North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un announced plans to fast-track the DPRK's rise to military superpower status, backed by nuclear weapons, and did not rule out their use in case of enemy aggression.
On October 15, Russian leader Vladimir Putin submitted a proposal to the State Duma to ratify a "comprehensive strategic partnership" agreement between Russia and North Korea.
