Russia readies for attack on Poland, Baltic States - Ukrainian diplomat

Ukrainian politician and diplomat Roman Bezsmertnyi notes that the topic of a global war on the European continent is part of Russia's tactical plans for the coming months

He expressed this opinion on Espreso TV.

“Remember that during any aggressions, whether in Georgia or in Ukraine, there were certain historical excursions preceding the attacks. And this means that Russia is preparing for an attack. Moreover, a component of this attack now includes not only Ukraine but also Poland and the Baltic countries. This indicates that the topic of war, a global war in the European continent, is not just on the agenda but is already a core element of further plans, well-developed plans, in terms of Russia's tactical steps in the coming months, not years," emphasized the diplomat.

According to him, European experts are mistaken when they talk about 2, 3, or 5 years. If someone thinks it's a random coincidence - Carlson (Tucker Carlson - an American journalist who arrived in Russia on February 6 and interviewed Putin) and the latest strikes across Europe, tensions in the Middle East - it's not. All these places are very well worked out by the FSB. And it started working very actively.

"The Moscow Fuhrer has always used global events, processes, and phenomena to initiate various military actions - Olympics, economic crises, and so on. Remember, we talked about it: when the epidemic began, I said he wouldn't back down; on the contrary, he would attack, but everyone said no, the epidemic would stop him. This year, there will be elections and a certain transitional period in the US, but there's also the Olympics in Paris. What negotiations are we talking about? It's obvious here that this is the moment for the Fuhrer. In his interview with Carlson, he says: I will wait for the Olympics, and then I will decide whether to give the Poles and the Baltic a break or to strike. The writing is on the wall now," the politician noted.

In his opinion, the topic of negotiations should be dropped for those who are trying to spin it, because it is simply disinformation.

"The situation in terms of information requires vigilance, especially regarding this Russian track. But I say it again: the first focus here are global elections. Secondly, there's really colossal danger for Europe. The situation has now come down to the issue of 2014-2022: it's all in Putin's head, he will decide whether to take this step during the Paris Olympics or perhaps employ other tactical actions in some way," summarized Bezsmertnyi.

Putin's interview with Carlson

On February 6, Tucker Carlson arrived in Russia to interview Putin. The EU said that Putin is a chronic liar, so he was likely to justify Russia's aggression against Ukraine.

During his conversation with Carlson, Putin admitted that Russia had not achieved its goals in the war against Ukraine. At the same time, he accused Kyiv of being unwilling to negotiate, and said that he had sent signals to the United States that it should stop supplying weapons to Ukraine, so that the war would end in a few weeks.

Also, answering the question of who blew up Nord Stream, the Russian president accused the American intelligence services and Germany, which has been silent on the matter.

Commenting on Vladimir Putin's interview with Tucker Carlson, Ukrainian intelligence representative Andriy Yusov called the Russian dictator a geopolitical madman.
