Russia is creating grouping of troops north of Kharkiv - governor Syniehubov

Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleh Syniehubov said this during the telethon.

According to him, the Russian troops have resumed active assault operations in the eastern Kharkiv region after replacing their units. However, the enemy has no success.

"As for the north: Russia is creating a certain grouping of troops, we will analyze further: it is for a possible attack from the north or other territories," informed Syniehubov.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration assured that all necessary measures are being taken to be ready to counter the challenges that may arise.

• On May 6, the American Institute for the Study of War reported that Russians were redeploying their troops to the Northern Grouping of Forces for a possible attack on Kharkiv.
