According to the report, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) proposed that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Russia include recommendations for the authorities to reinstate Russian banks in the SWIFT system and normalize financial transactions.
Additionally, the RSPP expects that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will present its proposals on lifting sanctions to the American side ahead of the anticipated meeting between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump.
The RSPP also plans to suggest that Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak coordinate positions for a report to the president on protecting businessmen’s rights to privatized assets.
"RSPP proposed that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce exclude environmental projects from sanctions, particularly energy equipment for offshore operations," TASS added.
