Russia claims drone attack on Ilsky Oil Refinery
On the night of Monday, February 17, Russia reported a drone attack on the Ilsky Oil Refinery in Krasnodar Krai. The drone allegedly crashed near the refinery, causing a fire
The governor of the region, Veniamin Kondratyev, made this statement.
According to him, as a result of the drone debris falling, 12 residential buildings were damaged, and one person was injured.
"As a result of the debris falling in the village of Ilskoye in the Siversky district, preliminary information indicates that 12 houses were damaged - mostly windows were shattered. A woman was injured and received first aid," he noted.
The Telegram channel SHOT, citing witnesses, reported that the target of the attack was the Ilsky Oil Refinery, and fragments of one of the drones caused a fire near the plant.
At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that 90 drones were allegedly shot down overnight: 38 over the waters of the Azov Sea, 24 over the territory of Krasnodar Krai, 15 over the territory of Crimea, 7 over the waters of the Black Sea, 2 over the territories of Kursk and Rostov regions, and one over the territories of Bryansk and Belgorod regions.
