Russia changes tactics, ceasing to destroy neighborhoods in Ukraine's New York - military
Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman Yevhen Iievliev says that street fighting is currently taking place in New York, Donetsk region
He said this on Espreso TV.
"The situation in New York in the Donetsk region is quite unstable and complicated. For example, if you compare the situation during the storming of Avdiivka with the situation in New York, these are completely different battles. In New York, the situation can change three times a day. The guys either push the Russians back, or the enemy finds new ways through. If in Avdiivka artillery training covered everything around, and after the destruction of the positions, the Russians tried to hold on to the stones, the situation in New York is different," Iievliev noted.
According to the Ukrainian military, street fighting is currently ongoing in New York.
"But the Russian army does not destroy the city completely, because this is also a very bad practice for them. The Russians themselves have nothing to hold on to afterwards. The situation has changed at least four times over the past week," Iievliev emphasized.
