Ivan Sekach, spokesman for the 110th Detached Mechanized Brigade defending the Pokrovsk sector, said that Russian reports of capturing Novooleksandrivka are false, the enemy personnel who attempt to enter the village are immediately destroyed

He told this on Espreso TV.

"Combat actions are taking place along the entire contact line, especially in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy is attacking both our neighboring positions and us. In our area of responsibility, fighting is taking place in Novooleksandrivka. The enemy is trying to take this village. And the fact that the occupiers say they have captured Novooleksandrivka is not true. The fighting is going on in this village. They cannot gain a foothold there, because even if some enemy personnel enter, they are immediately destroyed," commented the 110th brigade spokesman.

According to him, there is an understanding that the enemy is throwing out all the forces it has. That is, Russia gathers all those who are, for example, in Ocheretyne and throws them into the offensive. The enemy has a lot of killed and wounded.

"Yesterday, on June 13, I saw an enemy armored personnel carrier on the offensive from Avdiivka, which only reached Ocheretyne, where it was hit and then destroyed. That means they are trying to reinforce their forces from Avdiivka. Our guys are also suffering losses because the enemy has a lot of artillery. As for our artillery, it's the first time I've not heard our servicemen counting shells. The situation has already improved, you can feel it on the battlefield. We are trying to keep the enemy away from our infantrymen and destroy them as far as possible. We are also working a lot with FPV drones, for example, we have used 273 FPV drones in our unit alone in three days. To destroy enemy equipment, we need 5-6 FPVs, but three of them fail to reach their targets due to electronic warfare, only the 4th and 5th reach their targets," explained Ivan Sekach.

  • On June 14, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that 48 combat engagements had taken place along the entire frontline since the beginning of the day. Russians are attacking the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions the most.
