Russia can maintain manpower for another year without declaring mobilization
Defense Express military expert Ivan Kyrychevskyi says that Russia can continue active combat operations for another year without resorting to a new mobilization
He made this statement on Espreso.
"Perhaps the Russians have enough manpower resources even for an offensive campaign this year. We can roughly estimate how much available manpower they currently have, but we are not taking into account the fact that Putin issued a decree requiring our people in the temporarily occupied territories to either legalize their status by obtaining Russian citizenship or leave by September. Unfortunately, this could provide Russia with an additional resource for forced mobilization," Kyrychevskyi noted.
According to the military expert, the Russians have already accepted the fact that their operational warfare tactics have degraded to the point where they simply rely on throwing manpower into battle with a certain level of air and artillery support.
"Therefore, we should consider a more pessimistic scenario in which the Russians have enough manpower resources to sustain the war for a year without making extraordinary decisions. An extraordinary decision would be announcing a new mobilization in Russia," Kyrychevskyi added.
- The Ukrainian Air Force has struck a concentration of Russian personnel in Kondratyevka, Kursk region, eliminating up to 30 soldiers.
