Ukrainian Air Force reported the information.

Attack on Kyiv

"As a result of another air attack, no damage was reported in the capital. Fortunately, there were no casualties,” the Kyiv City Military Administration said.

They added that the attack was a combined one, using different types of weapons. Russia fired Kh-101 / Kh-555 / Kh-55 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers. These missiles came at Kyiv from the south in several waves. Almost simultaneously with the missiles, Russian attack UAVs were moving toward the capital from the same southern direction.

During the repulsion of this attack, Russian troops, according to preliminary data, also fired ballistic missiles at the capital.

The air alert in Kyiv lasted almost 2 hours.

All air targets were destroyed by Ukraine's air defense forces.

“Once again, we are grateful to the professionalism of the air defense soldiers. Their excellent work has once again saved the lives of Kyiv residents!” the Kyiv City State Administration emphasized, adding that the Air Force will report the exact number and type of missiles launched. The administration emphasized that this attack once again demonstrated that the aggressor will not give up the missile terror of Kyiv.

“And for the effectiveness of their strikes, the Russian terrorists will be looking for new combinations to break through Ukrainian air defense. So never ignore air raid warnings! Always stay in shelters in times of danger,” said Serhiy Popko, Head of the Kyiv Military Aviation Academy.

Aftermath in Kyiv region

Ruslan Kravchenko, the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, said that no hits to residential or critical infrastructure were recorded. Meanwhile, one person was injured as a result of falling debris - a cut wound to the leg.

"At the same time, as of 7:00 a.m., a number of facilities in two districts of the region were damaged by falling debris. In particular, a fire broke out at an industrial facility in one of the districts. Fire and rescue units of the Kyiv region, Kyiv city, and Ukrzaliznytsia are currently involved in eliminating the fire,” the statement said.

The falling debris also damaged a private house, a gas station, and a garage. In another area, a warehouse caught fire.

Ukraine's Office of the Prosecutor General added that in one of the districts of the region, a private household, a garage, a warehouse and a private enterprise were damaged. However, information about the victims is being clarified.
