Russia's large-scale attack kills civilians in Kharkiv, causes damage in Dnipro, Odesa region

Consequences of the massive attack on Kharkiv

At 3:11 a.m., Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported an explosion in the city. Soon after, he said that a series of explosions had occurred.

At 3:18 a.m., Terekhov informed that, according to the Situation Center, a Shahed hit a civilian enterprise in the Kyiv district of Kharkiv. A massive fire broke out there.

Shortly afterward, the mayor of Kharkiv wrote that there was also one hit in the central part of the city.

According to Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Russia strikes were recorded in the Kyivvskyi district of Kharkiv - six drones hit the territory of a civilian enterprise. In addition, there were hits in the Osnovianskyi district.

At 3:59 a.m., Terekhov wrote that Kharkiv was under a massive combined attack.

“More than ten Shaheds struck the city, there is preliminary information about several arrivals of missiles and glide bombs. There is preliminary information about the victims," he added.

At 4:02 a.m., the mayor of Kharkiv reported that a multi-storey residential building was hit in the Osnovianskyi district and a fire broke out.

Soon after, he informed that the strike on the center had left two people injured, including a one-and-a-half-month-old baby.

In addition, Terekhov reported that a Shahed hit a multi-story building in the city center, setting fire to apartments on several floors.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration wrote that another victim asked for help in the Osnovianskyi district of Kharkiv.

The mayor said that apartments from the 6th to the 9th floor of a residential building in the city center were on fire. According to preliminary information, there are people under the rubble in the apartments.

Terekhov said that on the night of June 7, Kharkiv experienced the most powerful attack in the entire period of the full-scale war. According to him, at least 40 explosions occurred in the city in an hour and a half. He added that the Russians are simultaneously attacking with missiles, Shaheds and guided bombs.

As of 4:42 a.m., the number of casualties in the center of Kharkiv increased to six, and later to seven.

Terekhov and Syniehubov also informed about the consequences of the Russian attack on the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv. Three people were injured and two Shahed shells hit a private house and a higher education institution.

“One person was killed and another wounded as a result of a hit on a private house in the Kyiv district,” the mayor of Kharkiv wrote at 5:27 a.m.

Syniehubov clarified that a 14-year-old girl was among the injured in the Kyivskyi district.

As of 6:00 a.m., one person was killed and 14 injured, including two children, in Kyivskyi district. According to the preliminary estimates of the Situation Center, Kharkiv was hit by 53 Shaheds, a missile and four glide bombs.

Later, the death toll rose to three, and the number of injured increased to 21, including a one-and-a-half-month-old baby and a 14-year-old girl.

In the city, 18 apartment buildings were damaged (three of them had structural damage) and 13 private yards were damaged.

Also, on the outskirts of Kharkiv, a fire broke out as a result of 3 Shaheds hitting an abandoned cowshed building and 5 UAVs hitting an open area. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Casualties in Dnipropetrovsk region

 The head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, reported at 3:36 a.m. that the region was under attack by the Shahed.

"It was loud in Dnipro and Pavlohrad. We will report on the consequences later," he wrote.

At 4:00 a.m., Lysak informed that explosions were heard again in Dnipro and Pavlohrad.

In the morning, it became known that the Dnipropetrovsk region had survived a combined Russian attack at night. The air defense system shot down 6 missiles and 27 Russian UAVs. However, women aged 45 and 88 were injured in Dnipro. They were provided with the necessary assistance, and one of them remains on outpatient treatment.

The city's infrastructure, a business, an educational institution and several dozen garages were damaged. A car caught fire, 3 people were injured. Windows in high-rise buildings were smashed.

It was also loud in Pavlohrad. Businesses and apartment buildings were destroyed there. The fire engulfed cars. Emergency workers are extinguishing the fire. 9 cars were destroyed. Fortunately, people are safe.

In the morning, the enemy resumed attacks on Nikopol. He sent fpv drones and heavy artillery to the district center and Marhanets community.

A nine-story building in Nikopol was damaged. Preliminary, there were no casualties.

Attack on Odesa region

Last night, Russians also attacked the Odesa region with attack drones. Odesa district was under attack.

The attack damaged a church building and other infrastructure in the village of Ovidiopol.
