Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy reported the information.
The situation at the ZNPP is on the verge of a blackout.
“Another act of Russian terrorism has created a threat of an accident at the occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP. We demand the immediate implementation of the IAEA resolution and the return of the occupied plant under Ukrainian control. The safe operation of the Zaporizhzhia NPP is only possible under Ukraine's oversight,” stated Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko.
According to him, power engineers are already working to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attack in order to restore full power to the occupied NPP as soon as possible.
- Earlier, the Russian-installed authorities of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant accused Ukraine of allegedly striking a transformer at the substation.
