Russia attacks power substations in Poltava and Lviv regions

The press services of Ukraine's Ministry of Energy and Ukrenergo Power Company reported that at night, Russia attacked a high-voltage substation in the Poltava region, which resulted in a fire that the State Emergency Service extinguished. There were no casualties. There was some damage to the equipment.
The Russian Federation also shelled a high-voltage substation in the Lviv region, causing equipment to catch fire. There were no casualties. The consequences of the night attacks are being assessed and clarified.
Due to the fighting in the Dnipropetrovsk region, two high-voltage overhead lines were simultaneously disconnected, and an industrial facility lost power. Consumers are now being supplied with electricity.
In Sumy region, 158 consumers lost power due to shelling from the Russian border. In total, 4.8 thousand metering points in 74 settlements remain without power because of hostilities.
Also, 3.7 thousand customers in Zaporizhzhia region remain without electricity supply due to hostilities.
Yesterday, Russian shelling damaged equipment at a power company substation in Kharkiv region. Within 24 hours, power companies have reconnected almost 3 thousand customers. The hostilities caused new damage to power grids and equipment. A total of 16.7 thousand metering points are without power due to the shelling.
The Defense Forces reported that the enemy was targeting the critical infrastructure of southern Ukraine.
"As a result of the fall of the wreckage of a downed drone in Odesa district, a private yard was damaged and a power line was cut. No people were injured," the statement said.
