Ukrainian National Guard officer speaks about Russia's next target after Avdiivka
National Guard major, chief of artillery staff of the 4th Rubizh Brigade Denys Nahornyi noted that Chasiv Yar became the target of the Russians after Avdiivka
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"I am in the Bakhmut direction. The enemy has focused its main efforts on Chasiv Yar, launching an active offensive on Ivanivske and Bohdanivka. The enemy's goal is to reach the Siverskyi Donets - Donbas canal. Every day, the Russians are increasing their attacks with anti-aircraft guns and artillery. Especially at night, enemy FPV drones are active," noted Colonel Nahornyi.
According to the chief of the artillery staff of the 4th Rubizh Brigade, despite the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are conducting active counter-battery operations, the Russians continue to throw their own "meat" at all positions and strongholds.
"That is, after Avdiivka, Chasiv Yar became the enemy's target. And they will keep trying to concentrate their efforts there," emphasized Nahornyi.
- Recently, Andriy Otchenash, the crew commander of the Kara Nebesna UAV of the 4th Rubizh Operational Brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard, reported that there are 7-10 Russians per one soldier of Ukraine’s Defense Forces near Chasiv Yar. The operational situation is complicated for several reasons.
- Mykola Malomuzh noted that the Russians failed to completely capture Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region. Positional battles with maneuvers are ongoing there.
