Reached maximum production: Budanov explained why Russia needs pause in war
Ukraine's spy chief Kyrylo Budanov said that Russia needs a pause in the war against Ukraine, since it has reached its maximum production and needs time to recover
He told reporters about this on March 10.
Budanov was asked what signs Russia needs a pause.
"What do you mean, what signs, when you ask the head of intelligence? Yes, there are all the signs for this, absolutely all," he answered.
"The Russians require a pause to restore their strength. There are all the signs for this. They have reached their maximum production. It is impossible to produce more than is already being produced," Budanov noted.
Secondly, one day of war costs Russia "a little less than a billion dollars." And this, according to the head of Ukraine's military intelligence, is 41% of the official budget of the occupying country.
"We have partners in this regard, and they are spending their money," Budanov said.
He previously said that in order to finance the war, the occupying Russian authorities were forced to curtail many social projects in the country.
