Putin consistently makes Trump look foolish — politician

Oleh Rybachuk, head of the Center for Joint Action NGO and Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for European Integration (2005), shared this opinion on Espreso TV.

"The problem Trump has with Putin is that Putin always makes Trump look foolish. The American press is very sharp. After Alaska, they tore Trump to pieces for that humiliation – for the American soldiers who dragged the bloodstained red carpet on their knees, and in general for how it was organized. Then Trump tried to prove that this was not the case, that he has great influence, and demonstrated this influence to the Europeans: “I just spoke with Putin, and he agreed and promised that he accepts the guarantees and is ready for the meeting,” Rybachuk said.

The politician emphasized that the Russian dictator would not agree to peace talks without consulting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping.

“Therefore, Trump said that the meeting would last several days and mentioned that the issue of sanctions would traditionally arise in two to three weeks. In a week, it will already be two weeks. And we understand that Putin will not do anything without consulting with his supervisor in Beijing under any circumstances,” he added.
