Pokrovsk, Toretsk sectors experience ongoing clashes - Ukraine's General Staff

Ukraine's General Staff reported the information as of 4:00 p.m.

In the Kharkiv sector, two Russian attacks occurred in the Vovchansk area over the past day. The battle is ongoing, but the situation remains under control.

In the Kupyansk sector, Russia attempted to advance on Ukrainian positions near Andriivka throughout the day but was unsuccessful. Three Russian attacks are still ongoing near Stelmakhivka and Pishchane. A total of five firefights have been reported in the sector. Russian forces dropped an aerial bomb in the areas of Novoosynove and Petropavlivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russia has increased the number of attacks to three, with fighting occurring near Makiivka and Torske.

In the Siversk sector, the Russian army made two unsuccessful attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses near Vyimka. Firefights are still ongoing in five locations near Spirne, Ivanо-Daryivka, and Verkhniokamianske. The situation is under control.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian defenders continue to repel Russian attacks near Chasiv Yar. In the areas of Klishchiivka, Ivanivske, and Andriivka, Russian forces suffered losses and retreated.

In the Toretsk sector, 12 attacks occurred in the areas of Pivnichne and New York, where Russian troops are still advancing. The occupying army was also pushed back near Zalizne and Toretsk. Both Toretsk and Dyliivka were bombed eight times with guided aerial bombs. Additionally, Russia shelled Dyliivka three times with aviation weapons.

The Russian army is currently most active in the Pokrovsk sector. Over the past day, 36 clashes of varying intensity occurred here. Fighting is still ongoing in nine locations, including Novooleksandrivka, Ivanivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Svyrydonivka, Zhelanne, and Yasnobrodivka. Russian aircraft were firing guided aerial bombs at Ivanivka, Novotroitske, Hrodivka, and Tymofiivka throughout the day. Additionally, Russian forces launched four airstrikes with unguided aerial missiles in the direction of Oleksandropil.

Fighting continues in the Kurakhove sector. Four assaults were repelled near Krasnohorivka, Paraskoviivka, and Kostiantynivka, with Russia suffering losses.

Russia did not conduct any active offensives in the Vremivka sector. Instead, Russian aircraft carried out seven attacks near Bohoyavlenka, Novodonetske, and Neskuchne.

In the Orikhiv sector, two unsuccessful combat engagements for Russia occurred in the area of Mala Tokmachka. The Russian army fired approximately fifty unguided aerial missiles towards Piatykhatky, Huliaipole, and Lobkove.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled one attack on the left bank of the Dnipro River.

  • Over the past day, the Russian army lost 1,370 soldiers, while Ukrainian forces destroyed 42 armored vehicles and downed 115 drones.
