Pokrovsk: defend cannot retreat

It's difficult and unrealistic to defend a city with orcs (a negative term for Russian forces and Russians who support the war - ed.)  inside. They 'won't stand on ceremony regarding the price,' and we have no other prospects than to protect our people.

"At the same time, one must understand a very simple thing: orcs only stop when they are dead. If they are not killed in Pokrovsk, it will simply have to be done beyond Pokrovsk."

The situation is now becoming very similar to Bakhmut. After that battle, orcs were forced to go on the defensive due to incredibly high losses. And we went on a counteroffensive, but, as it turned out, the defense of Bakhmut also cost us dearly – we burned through a lot of ammunition and could not break through the orcs' defenses.

I cannot say what is better: to defend Pokrovsk or to retreat. But I know that the most important thing is to protect people. Because without them, there will be no defense at all.
