Personnel shortage forces Russian drone pilots to be reassigned as stormtroopers

The Atesh guerrilla movement, created by Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars, shared the information on Telegram on June 25.

The partisans received information from their agent, who "serves" in the Russian army. According to him, the Russian forces have suffered enormous losses due to the offensive in the Kharkiv region.

"The command of the Russian army, as always, found the best solution - to re-profile UAV pilots into stormtroopers! Therefore, those who counted on relative safety yesterday began to actively prepare for participation in cannon fodder assaults," guerrillas said.

This has also led to an increase in the number of Russians willing to surrender and join the side of Ukraine, especially among former UAV operators, who are being sent to the front after a minimum two-week training, partisans added.
