Viktor Yahun, military and public figure, Reserve Major General of the Ukrainian Security Service, expressed this opinion on Espereso TV.

"It (peace without Russia's capitulation - ed.) is simply impossible to imagine, because this could be a halt, a suspension, a freezing of the conflict, or whatever else you might call it. But peace is when a peace agreement is signed," he said.

Viktor Yahun noted that a peace agreement can only be signed when the Russians fulfill at least three demands.

"And a peace agreement can only be signed when they, the Russians, fulfill three demands - at least three demands. First, they must liberate all our territories. Second, reparations for the losses they have inflicted on us. And third - punishment of those guilty who committed crimes on Ukrainian territory. Moreover, crimes that are prosecuted under international law in perpetuity. Therefore, until Russia does this, and it has no intention of doing so, there will simply be no peace. There will be anything you like, just not peace," he noted.
