This was reported by the partisan group Atesh.

According to the statement, the explosion disrupted the signaling and train traffic control systems.

Atesh says this railway section is a key part of the new Taganrog–Mariupol rail line, which the Russians hastily launched to transport fuel, equipment, and ammunition directly to the front line, bypassing the Crimean Bridge. It allows for faster and less risky delivery of cargo from Rostov.

Resistance movement agents say that damaging infrastructure in this direction disrupts supply chains and increases the vulnerability of the occupying forces.

"We continue to strike at the enemy’s critical points. Each blow weakens their combat capability," the partisans emphasized.

  • Russia’s own officials admit to the massive destruction they caused in the currently occupied Mariupol, Donetsk region, during the battles for the city in spring 2022.
