On the Novopavlivka front, Russian troops are getting hammered with heavy losses, but they keep pushing the attack. The Russian command keeps throwing fresh forces into the fight, losing dozens of soldiers every single day
A serviceman from the 31st Separate Mechanized Brigade, Roman, said this on Espreso TV.
“The enemy is being worn down, but they are regularly reinforced. This is a practiced tactic for them: one battalion finishes in two weeks, and another arrives. The one that finishes goes to rest, recovers, and returns to the front,” Roman said.
According to the serviceman of the 31st Separate Mechanized Brigade, constant efforts continue on the Novopavlivka front to locate and destroy the enemy, who are suffering very heavy losses.
“About 10–15 confirmed killed and more every day — that’s just what we record. In reality, even more die on the distant approaches due to mines and long-range strikes. That’s why the enemy suffers colossal losses but continues to push,” Roman emphasized.
- On October 6, there were 193 combat engagements on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The Defense Forces repelled 59 Russian attacks in the Pokrovsk direction.
