Babel, NV, and RBC-Ukraine reported the information, citing their own sources.
As a result of the attack, a closed city specializing in uranium mining was left without communication, as Orion Telecom was the sole internet provider there.
The hacking operation reportedly disabled around 370 servers and 500 network switches.
Local Telegram channels have circulated a message, allegedly from Ukrainian hackers and addressed to the company. Written in Russian, it says: "Happy holiday, unesteemed Russians. Soon you’ll be living in the Stone Age — and we’ll help you get there. Glory to Ukraine."
