Norway to continue military training for Ukrainian National Guards in 2025
Representatives of Ukraine's National Guard and the Kingdom of Norway have agreed to continue their military training cooperation for personnel in 2025
The press service of the National Guard of Ukraine reported the information.
During the meeting at the headquarters of the National Guard, representatives of the Norwegian Military Operation Ellis and the defense attaché of the Norwegian Embassy discussed prospects for deepening cooperation in military training for National Guard personnel at Norwegian training centers in 2025.
"The main focus was on specialized training for snipers, marksmen, combat medics, junior commanders, and instructors," the press service stated.
Representatives of the National Guard emphasized that such training significantly enhances the combat readiness of Ukrainian forces, contributing to more effective counteraction to Russian aggression and ensuring interoperability with NATO units.
"During the meeting, issues of expanding international technical assistance to strengthen the capabilities of operational units of the National Guard of Ukraine were also discussed. Participants expressed mutual interest in developing a long-term partnership and deepening cooperation," the National Guard reports.
