Putin's intimidation works if Europe fails on sanctions, analyst warns
During a press conference in Brussels, Zelenskyy stated that Ukrainian intelligence has identified 12,000 North Korean soldiers involved in Russia's war against Ukraine.
"As for prisoners (from North Korea), there haven’t been any yet. But we have photos and videos of dead North Korean soldiers. Almost all are found with Russian passports. This is all documented," Zelenskyy said.
The president added that there is evidence of Russians burning the faces of killed North Korean soldiers to make identification impossible.
"This is the same as what they did with their own soldiers—burning them completely. For those not burned, they left them to rot on the ground. Now they burn faces. We document all of this," Zelenskyy stated.
