Moscow-linked app used in Moldova vote-buying scheme, authorities say
Moldovan police have warned that a new scheme of illegal financing and voter bribery has emerged in the country, orchestrated from Russia through a mobile app

According to NewsMaker, authorities say the operation is being run via the app Taito, which functions on the Telegram platform.
The General Police Inspectorate urged Moldovan citizens not to access the app or share any personal information through it.
“People are being promised tens of thousands of lei each month in exchange for taking part in illegal activities, but they never receive the money,” police said.
“Do not enter this app, and do not share your personal data.”
