Ukraine approves KRAMPUS flamethrower complex for use in Armed Forces
Ukraine's Defense Ministry has codified and authorized the use of the KRAMPUS mobile flamethrower strike complex in the Armed Forces units for assault and defense missions
This is stated in a report from the Ministry of Defense.
It is noted that the Ukrainian-made KRAMPUS has compact size and weight, and can be transported in the back of a pickup truck, minibus, or on a trailer.
The system is equipped with two silent electric motors and a tracked chassis, which allows it to move easily across rough terrain. It can operate off-road, in forests, sand, swamps, and climb steep slopes. It also includes two video cameras and a combat module armed with RPV-16 infantry flamethrowers, capable of targeting enemy personnel and lightly armored vehicles.
"The system has stable control channels, functions in cold, heat, snow, and rain. The battery capacity allows for several hours of continuous movement. This makes it possible to stay in position in standby mode for a long time," the Ministry of Defense stated.
It is also noted that since the start of the full-scale war, the Ministry has approved the use of over 80 ground-based robotic systems, most of which are made in Ukraine.
Last year, over 50 domestically produced systems were codified. In 2023 – 10, and since the beginning of 2025 – more than 20.
- In April, the Ministry of Defense codified and approved the Dzhura-EVAK armored evacuation vehicle for use by the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
