This is reported by the IAEA.
It is noted that this happened on June 11. One of the mines exploded there, located next to the Zaporizhzhia NPP cooling pond.
No one was injured in the explosion and there was no damage.
"This latest explosion, so close to the plant, is of grave concern and is aggravating an already fragile situation," said IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi.
- The Russian Federation has brought Chechen militants to the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. They set up a shooting range in one of the premises.
