Medvedev said that the Istanbul talks are not for striking a compromise peace on someone else's delusional terms but for ensuring our swift victory and the complete destruction of the neo-Nazi regime.
He noted that this is exactly what is outlined in the Russian “memorandum” released the day before, which, according to him, includes a list of demands Moscow has made to Kyiv.
Medvedev also commented on the SBU’s Operation Spider’s Web, which damaged more than 40 Russian military aircraft, saying “retribution is inevitable.”
He added that Russian army is pushing forward and will continue to advance. Also he noted that everything that needs to be blown up will be blown up, and those who must be eliminated will be.
- On Monday, June 2, after the meeting in Istanbul, Russia released a memorandum on ending the war. Among its key demands: lifting of sanctions, a nuclear-free status for Ukraine, and Kyiv’s refusal to join NATO.
