Nuclear plant region in Western Ukraine hit by large-scale Russian attack

The head of the Rivne Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Koval, reported this.
That night, Russia launched a large-scale air attack on the Rivne region. During the prolonged alert, air defense forces shot down six Russian targets. Since the morning, drones have repeatedly flown near the nuclear power plant in Varash in this reigon.
According to preliminary reports, no casualties or infrastructure damage were recorded. Emergency services are working at the sites where the targets were intercepted.
The air alert in Rivne began at 01:39 on February 9 and lasted 7 hours and 42 minutes.
- On Saturday, February 8, the Russian army launched at least six strikes on Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region, injuring a family. Two children suffered concussions.
