The Kyiv City Military Administration reported the information.
“In total, almost 20 enemy drones heading for the capital were detected and destroyed. Combat operations were conducted on the outskirts of Kyiv,” the statement said.
During the night, Ukrainian air defense destroyed up to a dozen Russian drones, with a similar number being taken down during the daytime UAV attack.
According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, the wreckage of one of the last drones fell on the Kyiv-Obukhiv highway on the border of the Holosiivskyi district of the capital. As a result, a car caught fire and the driver was injured.

In the evening of August 25, the Russian army launched attack UAVs on the territory of Ukraine. On the morning of August 26, 11 Russian Tu-95MS and Tu-22M3 aircraft were spotted. The attack resulted in deaths and injuries, and destruction in several regions.
