Kupyansk direction remains tough – Ukraine's ACHILLES Battalion
Yuriy Fedorenko, commander of the ACHILLES Assault Battalion of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade, pointed out that Russian forces are taking heavy losses near Kupyansk but are continuing their push
He shared this information on Espreso TV.
"The enemy didn’t succeed yesterday – that’s a huge positive. The Kupyansk sector is one of the most challenging in the Kharkiv region, where the Russians are throwing a disproportionate amount of forces. They’re losing a lot of manpower, yet they keep advancing," Fedorenko explained.
He added that Ukrainian forces successfully defended their positions throughout the night. All key positions remain under control, despite constant enemy action. Ongoing efforts are focused on cutting off Russian troops' ability to push further.
"I'm endlessly grateful to my comrades for their optimism and the hard work they do. Night operations are intense, both for the combat tasks and for the camaraderie. When you hear each other on the radio, exchanging congratulations after a successful mission, it’s a huge motivator," Fedorenko emphasized.
