Crimea bridge may not withstand load after damage, logistics is limited - Ukraine's Navy spokesman
The spokesman for Ukraine's Southern Defense Forces and Ukraine's Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk, said that Russia is not currently using the Crimea bridge for logistics in full
He shared his opinion on the Espreso TV channel.
"Russians are worried that the bridge may not hold. Sometimes their social media also confirm this information. There has been more than one official statement from the Security Service of Ukraine that after a successful operation by the Security Service and the Navy, which resulted in a strike on the support of the Crimean bridge, further operation of the railway in full is virtually impossible," Pletenchuk explained.
According to the head of the Strategic Communications Centre of the Southern Defense Forces, the Crimean bridge may not be able to withstand the load after being damaged.
"Currently, the enemy is not using this tool for logistics to the fullest extent, but this does not prevent them from transporting personnel by truck or some weapons. For example, trailed artillery can pass through, or an Iskander tactical missile system can also drive across the bridge. But echelons with armored vehicles have not been observed there for a long time," Pletenchuk said.
