Is Putin planning a new offensive?
Earlier I wrote that Putin is facing a choice to continue the offensive campaign in Donbas now or postpone it for later, with the possibility of moving on Kharkiv
The reason for this is the lack of resources, not human, but technical. However, apparently, I and not only I was wrong. And the reason for this is China.
The recent marches of convoys of equipment in Donbas show that despite the enormous losses, the orcs have the ability to quickly restore and produce equipment in sufficient quantities to maintain the pace of the offensive. This was surprising, given the information we had about their capabilities. Also, we clearly did not see any Chinese equipment that would indicate assistance. However, this is not what China did. Apparently, it helped with machines and components. That's why we can see hundreds of Russian infantry fighting vehicles burning, but they are quickly modernizing and producing new ones.
While the United States is unable to pass a pitiful aid package for us, China has quietly created conditions for Putin not to lose. Against this background, the threats of American politicians to the Chinese look even more pathetic.
Therefore, returning to the question of a major offensive, it is already underway, and its goal is to capture the entire Donbas. But all other possible offensives depend solely on the scale of Russian losses incurred in this offensive. Unfortunately, we have less and less resources to inflict these losses on them.
