Military observer Bohdan Miroshnikov says that the invading Russian forces do not plan to halt or weaken their offensive on the front lines

He shared this information on Espreso TV.

“In the near future, continued fighting should be expected. The invaders will not abandon their key objectives. Russian forces will concentrate on several directions, with a focus on Toretsk and Chasiv Yar, which are part of the overall plan for the offensive on Kostiantynivka,” Miroshnikov stated.

The Russians are gradually shifting their main efforts toward the Kostiantynivka direction instead of the Pokrovsk direction. While the situation in the Pokrovsk sector remains stable, the intensity of battles has not changed, and it is unlikely that the enemy will abandon its intentions in this area of the front.

“The Russians are focused on Pokrovsk, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, and Kostiantynivka. Currently, there is a noticeable trend of redeploying operational and tactical reserves toward the Toretsk and Chasiv Yar directions. The first consequences of this are already visible, such as the loss of the Klishchiivka bridgehead. Fighting for Toretsk and Chasiv Yar is still ongoing, and it is far from over,” Miroshnikov noted.

  • On Monday, February 24, a total of 69 combat engagements were recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The most intense battles took place in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions.
